A relatively new discipline, art crime has been \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-GB\"\u003eexcluded from mainstream art histories, and yet, is very much part of the art world.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-GB\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-AU\"\u003eDr. Penelope Jackson\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eFormer Toi Tauranga Art Gallery Director and Curator, Dr Penelope Jackson MNZM has published four books about art crime as well as numerous exhibition catalogues and art historical articles. In 2023, she was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her contribution to art crime research and the visual arts. Penelope is an Adjunct Research Associate of Charles Sturt University, Australia.
