Grace Wright

Grace Wright's new large-scale work will fill the Gallery with swirling, baroque gestures that move between turbulence and moments of repose, evoking both the cyclical rhythms of the natural world and the drama of 17th-century religious painting. Though abstract in form, her works are deeply embodied and intuitive, shaped by a transcendent “no mind” state that allows her gestures to become visceral extensions of the body, elevating gestural form to monumental power.
