Light, Ash, Memory, Water Grace Wright

Grace Wright is a contemporary painter recognised for her large-scale, abstract works on linen. Born in Tauranga in 1992, Wright now works between Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Paris. Graduating with a Master of Fine Arts (First Class Honours) from Elam School of Fine Arts in 2019, Wright exhibits regularly in Aotearoa New Zealand as well as in Australia and Asia. Wright recently completed a residency with Heritage Expeditions which saw the artist journey to Antarctica over a one-month period by ship. Her work is held in private collections around the world including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Stockholm, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei and throughout Australia and Aotearoa. Wright is represented by Gow Langsford Gallery in Aotearoa New Zealand and COMA Gallery in Sydney, Australia.
