Lunchtime Bites — Old Friends

Location

108 Willow Street, Tauranga, New Zealand

Price Free

Duration 1 hour

Designed with busy professionals in mind, Lunchtime Bites is a short, engaging lunchtime talk series offering our city centre neighbours a welcoming space to pause, recharge, and reconnect with art.

Join us for our first session on Wednesday 18 March, 12.30–1.30pm (longer than most "bites"), where Dr Penelope Jackson will discuss works she curated in our current collection exhibition Old Friends. The selection of works represents and celebrates many of the early relationships forged between artists, donors, and Toi Tauranga Art Gallery, providing a window into our permanent collection.

In one bite-sized session, you’ll gain fresh perspective and creative inspiration, with no prior art knowledge needed! You can also pop into Breadhead café before or after your visit for something delicious to carry you through the rest of your workday.

Whilst this is a free event spaces are limited so booking is essential.
